All red requirements are Optional, according to the 20% scope limitation defined by the professors.
All yellow requirements will be dropped out if 1 or 2 group members drop out of the project, according to our risk mitigation plans of the risks 01 and 03.
Mechanic
Structure and Access:
- FR-MECH-001: The boxes shall have internal dimensions of at least 25 cm (W) × 25 cm (D) × 20 cm (H) to accommodate small and medium packages (≤10 kg).
- FR-MECH-002: The box 1 shall include a door with a motorized lock, using a 12V DC electric strike.
- FR-MECH-003: The door shall include a limit switch (magnetic sensor) to detect closure and trigger the camera/lighting system.
- FR-MECH-004: The interior lined with non-slip EVA foam to guide packages toward the trapdoor.
- FR-MECH-005: Load-bearing structural components shall support a static load of ≥10 kg without deformation.
- FR-MECH-006: The door shall feature a soft-close mechanism to prevent slamming.
- FR-MECH-007: The storage interior shall include cushioning to protect fragile items.
Security and Durability:
- FR-MECH-008: The enclosure shall be constructed with MDF or MDP wooden panels.
- FR-MECH-009: All external hinges shall be made of 304 stainless steel (corrosion-resistant).
- FR-MECH-010: Hinges shall be internally mounted with screws to prevent removal while the door is closed.
- FR-MECH-011: All screws securing structural components shall be high-strength steel.
- FR-MECH-012: Screws for wood connections shall have coarse threads for improved grip between structures.
- FR-MECH-013: The door gap shall be ≤2 mm to prevent insertion of prying tools.
